Procedure
When the document has been completed and is ready for the printer, Select Print from the File menu. This will bring up the Print window for the PostScript printer driver:

The Printer should be the GGCS LaserJet 5M ($0.05/page). If not, follow the Chooser Method to select the printer. If the document will be sent to the printer, then the Destination should be set to
Printer.

Enter the number of copies to be printed. Note: it may be cheaper to make color copies rather than print multiple color prints.

Print a portion of a document by entering the first and last page numbers of the selection to be printed. MS Word Note: Word will print portions based on the type of page numbers inserted onto the page. If you have roman numerals for document pages - such as for a preface, you must enter roman numerals into the Print window to print just a portion of the document.

Do not change the options for the Paper Source.

There are numerous options available within the pull-down menu labeled
General.

Most of these are not necessary for most print jobs, but they are useful for some tasks and many programs have unique options.

When the appropriate options have been selected, click the
Print button. If you decide not to print, click the Cancel button. When you Print, a final window appears where you may either continue the print job or cancel it. This is the last opportunity to cancel the print job, so be sure you want to print before clicking OK. Note that although the window shows a Page Cost of 0, you will still be charged $0.05 per page.

Printing to a PostScript File
The document can also be saved to a PostScript file that can be edited in Adobe Illustrator. This is useful for editing graphs or figures created in other programs that you might want to import into a word processor or another graphics program.

1) Select
Print from the File menu of the program used to create the document.

2) Select
File as the Destination in the Print window

3) When you click
OK a standard Save As… window will appear so you can name the PS file and save it to a folder in your GGCS account.

4) Record your PS print-out on the sheets between the printers and tag it as "PS file" so you will not be charged.
