Desktop Method (only for HP LaserJet 5M)
1) Single-click on the icon for the GGCS LaserJet 5M printer.

2) Select the item
Set Default Printer from the Printing menu so that there is a check next to it. Do not use the keyboard shortcut (z -L) because it will log you out of your GGCS account session.
Chooser Method (all Printers)

1) While in the program used to create the document to be printed, select the Chooser from the Apple menu.

2) Select the an icon in the upper left box of the
Chooser window. If printing to the HP LaserJet 5M Black & White printer, select the GGCS LaserJet 5M icon. Select the GGCS Stylus icon to print to the Epson color ink jet printer. Select the HP Plotter icon to print to the poster plotter, Gaupel.

3) Select, GeologyBld in the lower left box (should be the default selection).

4) Select the the appropriate printer
(GGCS LaserJet 5M(&0.05/page), GGCS Stylus ($0.75/page), Graupel, or another printer or slide printer) item as the PostScript Printer in the right box of the Chooser window.

5) Close the
Chooser window by clicking the square in the upper left corner of the Chooser window. You will be told to check the Page Setup in your programs if you have changed the default printer. Some printers use different margins, so you may want to preview your documents before printing them.

Note: There is no need to click the
Setup… button in the Chooser window. Once the printer is selected, it is the default printer seen in the Print window.
